This is the 3rd time, Next-Gen Kia Seltos India spotted testing near Hyderabad, close to Kia’s manufacturing hub in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh. It confirms that Kia is gearing up for the next level upgrade to its popular SUV, which has been a consistent bestseller in the compact and mid-size segment.
Now with a fresh boxier design, larger dimensions, advanced features, and the possibility of hybrid or full EV technology, the upcoming Seltos aims to set new benchmarks in its category.

Larger Dimensions and More Space
Suggestion from the Spy shots it could be confirm that the new Kia Seltos will grow larger, compared to the current model. It could measure around 4,500 mm in length, nearly 100mm longer than before, making it the longest SUV in its segment.
It will directly benefit cabin comfort and rear passengers can expect improved legroom with larger boot space and this colud also be launched in 7 seater, enhancing a stronger road presence and a more premium feel.

Modern Design Language and Upgraded Technology
Kia’s new design philosophy will play a key role in shaping the Next-Gen Kia Seltos. The traditional tiger-nose grille being replaced by a more rectangular unit with vertical LED DRLs and reworked headlamps. At the rear, connected LED tail-lamps and a redesigned tailgate enhance the SUV’s modern appeal.
Inside the cabin, Kia tried to equip the SUV with a larger integrated display, combining a fully digital instrument cluster and an upgraded infotainment system. Features like wireless smartphone connectivity, over-the-air software updates, ventilated seats, and a premium audio system are also added.
In the safety segment Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, 360 degree camera and automatic emergency braking are likely to be offered.

Powertrain Options and Possible Variants
One of the biggest highlights of the Next-Gen Kia Seltos will be its new platform, which promises improved safety, ride quality, and flexibility. It is expected that the existing petrol and diesel engines will continue and a petrol-hybrid variant could launch, offering fuel efficiency above 25 kmpl or EV segment with 500 km single charge range in its all-wheel-drive (AWD) options.
The updated platform will also bring better structural rigidity and improved Global NCAP crash safety
Expected Price and Launch Timeline in India
With more features, hybrid tech, and a larger size, the Next-Gen Kia Seltos is expected to move slightly upmarket. Pricing could see a jump of around ₹1,00,000 to ₹1,50,000 compared to the current model. The base variant may start at around ₹12.65 lakh (ex-showroom).
Industry insiders suggest that the India launch will likely take place in early 2026, making it one of the first markets to receive the new model. Production will continue at Kia’s Anantapur plant, which will undergo necessary upgrades to accommodate the new platform.
